Action E3: Sharing sessions between operators and communities.
The project will be spread through meetings with the interested operators, in order to reinforce the spread of the project’s philosophy that is based on the valorization of these areas. That will be done with the collaboration of local operators, such as hotel managers, traders’ associations and local tourist operators. During the meetings the participants will be informed about the project’s objectives and the benefits deriving from the deer’s reintroduction in well-preserved natural sites. The action will be coordinated by the Province of Ogliastra but other beneficiaries will realize it on every area involved.
The planned interventions will be realized according to the guidelines of the document: “LIFE-Nature: Communicating with stakeholders and the general public - Best practices examples for Natura 2000” and with the other documents present in the LIFE website.
The ISPRA will realize a naturalistic documentary that sums up the main themes, the deer’s history in the project areas.
A 25 minutes long documentary video about Natura 2000 sites and the habitats interested by the actions will be recorded. It will be showed during the meetings with the stakeholders, as well as in the schools involved in the project and at the conferences. It will be also uploaded on the project’s website. The video will be branded with the LIFE and Natura 2000 logos; it will be realized in 2,000 copies.
