Objectives
The general objectives:
- protection of the Sardinian corse deer’s long term conservation
- realisation of actions to improve the coexistence between human activities and the conservation of this species
- territory’s promotion, its ecological and economic value, in order to increase the social and economic benefits for the local populations.
The specific objectives:
- state of conservation’s improvement through the population’s growth
- creation of four nucleus in the Rete Natura 2000 sites in Sardinia and Corse
- improvement of the population’s genetic code
- a deepest knowledge of the species’ biology
- development of a general plane for the species’ management
- creation of suitable conditions for future projects of reintroduction
- promotion of a collaboration among the institutions involved in the deer and wildlife’s management.
