Action D3: Data collection and analysis

Data analysis, with the using of PCs, will allow obtaining information about the daily movement of the interested animals and their activities. From these pieces of information it can be possible to extrapolate news about:

• the dispersion from the site of release;
• the ways of use of the habitat;
• the approach to populated areas.

In the areas where the GSM is not available, it’s necessary to download data directly on the field. This is possible thanks to a device that works at distance, without disturbance for the animals.

This action will allow to get information about the deer’s populations in the following sites:
