On the 27th of November, a meeting about the LIFE+ Project „Conservation of red deer cervus elaphus corsicanus in Sardinia and Corse“ will take place in Ussassai at 10:00 am.

The “One Deer, Two Islands” project’s operations continue.
Since 25th of June 2015 the brochure of the project is available at the InfoPoint desk of Olbia "Costa Smeralda" Airport. It can help the project LIFE+ Nature "One deer, two islands" to be known by tourists arriving in the island.
A documentary about Sardinian Corse Deer was presented in Rome on the 30th of June 2015. The documentary highlights problems and opportunities of developing populations of Sardinian-Corse deer and explains the actions already done as part of the project LIFE+ Nature "One deer, two islands".
On the 9th of July 2015 at 10.00 a.m., in Sanluri will be a meeting dedicated to the LIFE+Nature Project “Conservation of Red Deer Cervus elaphus corsicanus in Sardinia and Corse”.
On the 30th of June 2015 in Rome at the "Museo Civico di Zoologia", the presentation of the Project LIFE documentary "One Deer, Two Islands" produced by ISPRA.
The video will be introduced by Dr. Carlo Garau (project's coordinator) and Dr. Luciano Mandas (Veterinary EFS).
One of the actions of the project LIFE + NATURE “One deer, two islands” is to do the electrified wire fence. This fence has threads covered by 12 volt-electric current, which has been generated with solar batteries.
The Province Medio Campidano technicians realized inspections to verify the proper functioning of the pastures used for the deer’s feeding.
