"Rete Natura 2000" Day
Increasing attention towards the “Life+ Natura” project, whose activities and results will be presented during the “Rete Natura 2000” Day.
On the 14th of May, who is interested in these activities may take part to the educational itinerary to “Taccu” Oasis in the Ulassai municipality (Province of Ogliastra). New Sardinian deer's populations have been released, counted and continuously monitored in this Oasis.
During the day, the partners involved in the project will show the results obtained from the Sardinian deer and wild boar's census and monitoring activities. In the afternoon the attention will be focused on the Life+ project “Conservation of deer elaphus corsicanus in Sardinia and Corse” that deals with the safeguarding of this Sardinian indigenous animal species.
Ulassai primary school's children will participate to the “Rete Natura 2000” Day.
