Deer’s distribution in Sardinia and Corse

The reintroduction’s program of the deer in Sardinia and Corse aims to recover this taxon. The project started in the ’90 with the creation of wildlife areas destined to the cores of reproduction and with the reintroductions carried out in the two islands.

The project’s partners are the Ente Foreste of Sardinia, the Province of Medio Campidano, the Province of Ogliastra and the ISPRA (Istituto per la protezione e la ricerca ambientale).
