Activities in Sardinia
It started the awareness campaign at schools of the area involved in the project LIFE “One Deer Two Islands”. The Campaign aims at enhancing students' awareness on importance of Cervus elaphus corsicanus and the environment in which he is present.
The 21st of February 2014 fifteen specimens living in the fence of Sa Porticra (Urzulei) were released. They will create (5 females and 10 males) with other specimens coming from the area of the Province of Medio Campidano, the future population of the Supramonte in the Province of Ogliastra. The deer were released in the area of the Gulf of Orosei, a Site of Community Importance (SCI).
